Finally bought a ps3 game

So the title says it all I finally bought a game for my PS3. As many of you might already know I decided to get Lair. It didn't get the greatest reviews from some sites, but after having played it I'm not sure where they are coming from. Most that have played the game either love it or hate it. It is my opinion that this stems from the controls. If you're familiar with the Wii and know how to use the motion control this game will be easy for you. If you've never experienced it before I'd recommend going through all the training missions to get a good feel for how it works. As a matter of fact I'd recommend going through all the training missions even if you are comfortable with the motion control. Some of the complaints that critics have had seem silly to me after going through the training missions.

The graphics in the game are very enjoyable. I also find the game play pretty fun. So to sum up I'd probably give it around an 8 out of 10.

Personality types

So you know I think I really have sucked at actually posting in my blog. I read my friend's blogs and think wow they have a lot of good ideas and are fun to read. Then I think what should I post about and well as you can tell nothing comes to mind.

The other day I read one of Dadguy's posts about a funny personality test that got the ball a rolling. I will warn you that the results are not going to give you that warm fuzzy feeling inside :), but it gave me a pretty good laugh. After taking the test I got to talking with a few of the guys here at work and it was interesting how well this silly test could peg a lot of our behaviors. I ended up ESTJ.

After looking at a lot of other peoples personalities I've come to the conclusion that this type of thing can be a great tool for friends, family, and colleagues. It will never be 100% accurate we are all unique and have slight variations on each of the different types. However, it can create a better understanding as to why people do things the way they do. Also it has helped me tremendously to try and realize some potential weaknesses that I can work on and try and be a better person. If you are interested in a slightly less offensive test I found this free one to work just as well. So if you feel comfortable share what results you had, and we can all get to know each other a little better.

PS3 follow up

Sorry for taking so long to get back to this topic. I got the update downloaded and installed and ran a few tests. Now I won't say that it blows you away with the huge increase in quality but it is noticeable. Now all I need is for them to come out with some more GAMES! :). On that note I will say that even if I was only able to watch HD movies on it the price was worth it. The 1080p quality is amazing.

Back at it again!

Well after a 2 month break I've decided to play some more WoW. I look forward to seeing those of you that are still playing. My Bro also signed back up with me.

PS3 News

I was very excited to get my ps3 and to be honest have not really used it that much. It seems pretty cool from what little I've done with it so far. I am really looking forward to Lair . I hope it lives up to all the hype :).

Today Sony released a new update to the firmware that I am really excited about :). Can't wait to get home and try it out.

A first for everything

Recently I've decided these blog things are kinda cool and so I decided to try it out and see if I like it. I don't promise to be very consistent in my writing, or to maintain a cohesive pattern either. I'll most likely post things that I find interesting and whatever else comes to mind :).
